functional screening with agency for integrated care & SATA Commhealth

In collaboration with Agency for Integrated Care and SATA CommHealth, a vision, hearing and oral health screening was held on 12 September 2018.

71 seniors benefited from this programme. Seniors eligible and in need were also introduced to the Seniors' Mobility Fund or other government subsidies for hearing aids, spectacles and dentures.

By improving access and affordability, the programme hopes to encourage seniors to go for timely screening and receive needed care and functional aids should they require any. It also helps to pre-empt falls and improve quality of life and independence to support ageing in place.
