Pupil Breakfast Scheme
Pupil Breakfast Scheme was implemented in 2006 to school-going children receive adequate nutrition to meet their growing needs.
Serving Jurong GRC, Bukit Batok SMC and Yuhua SMC, Pupil Breakfast Scheme complements the assistance provided by Ministry of Education Financial Assistance Scheme (MOE-FAS) and the Straits Time Pocket Money Fund to provide additional help for parents to cover the expenses for their children's school meals.
Sports, Tuition And Mentoring Programme
S.T.A.M.P was launched in 2006 to reach out to needy children and youths within a school setting.
It aims to nurture these students holistically by developing them physically, mentally and emotionally, as well as grooming them into well-rounded, confident and responsible individuals with the skills equipped and value instilled.
Free Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Clinic
In partnership with Cheng Hong Welfare Service Society saw the commencement of the Free Traditional Chinese (TCM) Clinic on 4 January 2010. It aims to serve the underprivileged residents in the region.
The clinic provides free consultation, acupuncture and medication for all patients.
Located at Blk 312 Jurong East Street 32, #01-319, the clinic operates every Monday and Thursday from 1pm to 4pm. Registration starts from 12.30pm and closes at 3.30pm.
Free Tuition Programme
With the vision of assisting children from less-privileged background to achieve a meaningful level of academic attainment and eventually progress to further education, Loving Heart's Free Tuition programme has supported nummerous students from Primary 1 to Secondary 4.
Through the assistance from a group of highly-qualified volunteer tutors, the programme currently caters individualized tuition to students across Jurong GRC, Bukit Batok SMC and Yuhua SMC on Fridays (7pm - 9pm) and Saturdays (9am -11am, 11am - 1pm).
To ensure greater impact, our tutorial is based often on a one-to-one configuration.
Project Big Heart
(Health Screening & Consultation)
Project Big Heart is an annual collaboration between Jurong Central, Fullerton Health and Loving Heart Multi-Service Centre (Jurong) to benefit CHAS (Orange/Blue), Pioneer Generation (PG) and Merderka Generation (MG) card holders. It aims to serve all residents in Jurong GRC, Bukit Batok SMC and Yuhua SMC.
The Chair-Based Exercise serves to encourage healthy living among retirees and elderlies within the community.
The objective of this programme is to encourage elderlies to exercise and move without putting any pressure on their bodies. Hence, participants will be seated on chairs while exercising.
Low Impact Aerobics Exercise
In collaboration with Health Promotion Board, we commence its first session in 2019.
Aerobics exercise is a combination of stretching training with a low intensity to a rhythmic routine, that is great in helping to build up strength and muscle endurance without putting much stress onto the joints. This exercise helps in keeping the spine functional and mobile and to burn calories, which can help remove excess pressure on the spine.
Case Management & Food Gifts
In these times of uncertain economy and social environments, several individuals and families face the consequence of getting left behind. Our assistance and services are catered to help residents cope with difficult times caused by circumstances, such as sudden unemployment or illness.
Food Gifts are given out to deserving families each month and the need for this assistance has been increasing over the years. Duration of assistance is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
